Pharmacy Tech Consultants are the publishers of textbooks written expressly for pharmacy technicians. All of our textbooks adhere to the highest academic standards and meet the guidelines of Pharmacy Technician programs throughout Canada and the United States.
Our researchers and authors understand the needs of the Pharmacy Technician as they have, themselves, taught pharmacy technicians in the community college system. They have also worked for many years in hospital and community pharmacies. Marie Atlas is a pharmacist, who not only taught at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology for 24 years, but also owned and worked in her own pharmacy for 31 years. She has since sold her pharmacy, retired from Humber College, and worked part-time (almost full-time) in two community pharmacies.
Knowing that there were no books written especially for technicians, they developed their texts to fill the void. Together Marie and Audrey Faris (retired) have created a number of textbooks/workbooks that are designed as tools for students to learn the basics of pharmacy. Many of these texts are presently used in many post-secondary institutions, in both community colleges and private vocational schools.
